Description
Iť s a collection of wooden figures powered by water wheel. A collection of wooden figures powered by water wheel. Its name derives from a water-mill that was once built by Vincenc Navrátil at a stream near his cottage. In the course of the fourties to seventies, helped by his son Adolf, he has created an extensive collection of figurek inspired by the local environment. Vincenc Navrátil made use of some old machinery parts from a local textile foactory, where he worked as a maintenance attendant, to secure the structure´s smooth transmission of movement. The museum has been donated the originál in 1986. Its replica has been bulit in 1995 making use of the originál part sof the drive plus extended with a mill-race and a goblin.
