Basic information
30 inhabitants, 784 above sea level, 7 km north from Nove Mesto, connection by car. It lies on yellow and green tourist sign in protected landscape area Žďarske Vrchy. Information kiosk is located at the warehouse building fire near the chapel. 
The village was found in the 14th century. Firt mention of the village as Four Welles came from 1384. Studnice are the highest village in the Žďarsko Vrchy.
Seal of village
From 1749 had own seal with well.
Folk architecture
The village is preserved walled estates and timbered houses with gables, which are evidence of vernacular architecture in the region. 
Summer activities
Hiking, biking, mushroom, climbing, swimming in the pond Medlov (4 km), rope and climbing center (Pension Pegas Vlachovice 6 km)
Winter Activities
Cross-country skiing, ski slopes Harusův Hill (9 km).
